It’s getting down to the wire with just seven finalists left in the running to earn the title of American Idol. The final line-up gets widdled down yet again with another vote-off tonight, so we thought it’d be interesting to check out who is in the lead by share of search.<\/p>\n

These search statistics are based on our publisher network of more than 200,000 websites (who reach more than 270 million people each month) and the searches that send traffic to them. We looked at the searches for these American Idol contestants from the beginning of the season until yesterday. Who’s the front runner by share of search? Drumroll….<\/p>\n
