We diagnosed the issue to <em>Adblock Plus running with Filterset.G<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>This is how one user fixed the problem:<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>One of the filters from the Filterset.G Updater extension seemed to be causing the problem.<\/p>\n<p>1. I removed the Filterset.G Updater extension<br \/>\n2. Then removed all subscriptions in Adblock Plus<br \/>\n3. Then subscribed to the EasyList (USA) list via the \u201cAdd subscription\u201d dialog in Adblock Plus<br \/>\n4. Then I restarted Firefox<\/p>\n<p>NOW everything works.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/adblockplus.org\">Adblock<\/a> also recommends <a href=\"http:\/\/adblockplus.org\/en\/faq_project\">not using<\/a> Filterset.G with Adblock Plus<\/strong>. Appears to be a fairly common issue with Filterset.G. More <a href=\"http:\/\/adblockplus.org\/blog\/sorry-filtersetg-but-it-is-time-for-you-to-go\">here<\/a> from Adblock:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>The issues with Filterset.G have been discussed several times in the forums and now it is official \u2014 I recommend Adblock Plus users to uninstall Filterset.G Updater and use some other subscription instead. There are quite a few choices, my recommendation would be to choose one of either EasyList, C\u00e9drics Liste, dutchblock or Filter von Dr.Evil (these are also the subscriptions that are currently suggested by the \u201cAdd subscription\u201d dialog in Adblock Plus).<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>If you were facing the same issue, hope this helped!
