As our Founder and CEO, Jay Meattle,\u00a0said in his blog post yesterday<\/a>, Shareaholic has grown from humble beginnings as a content sharing browser extension in 2009 and\u00a0transformed itself into an all-in-one content amplification platform\u00a0<\/strong>which\u00a0now reaches over 420 million people each month!<\/p>\n

This spring, we announced our plan to begin offering monetization solutions<\/a> to compliment our sharing and engagement tools for your content.<\/p>\n

Our goal:<\/strong> To help you earn money doing what you love using the tools you already have installed to simplify the process of monetizing your content.<\/p>\n

Over the summer, we worked closely with our publisher base to test these new apps and after many improvements, we released the first set of revenue generating features in September: Post Share Ads<\/a> and the Affiliate Links app<\/a>. After weeks of collecting feedback through user surveys and direct input, we released a series of upgrades\u00a0to accommodate important requests.<\/p>\n

More App Settings in the Plugin<\/h3>\n

Once you upgrade to our newest plugin version<\/a>, you will notice a brand new section inside the plugin titled \u201cMonetization.\u201d We have consolidated\u00a0all Monetization settings into one place within the plugin, making\u00a0it easy to understand and navigate:<\/p>\n

Clicking the button will open a window that allows you access to enable\/disable Post Share Ads, Affiliate Links, and Promoted Content:<\/p>\n

These settings previously required an account at Shareaholic.com to access, so we’re excited to make your plugin dashboard easier to use and far more powerful.<\/p>\n

NOTE: You\u2019ll still need to create an account<\/a> with us in order to see your earning stats, enter your payment information and gain access to advanced controls, but we\u2019ve added the ability to access many more controls directly inside the plugin.<\/em><\/p>\n

Updated Company\u00a0Website<\/h3>\n

This week we updated our homepage to include all of our services. We are in the midst of a complete website redesign to better convey all of the features that we offer. Already, we are excited about these\u00a0early upgrades\u00a0and what else we have in store.<\/p>\n

As we announced earlier this week<\/a>, we released Promoted Content – a new feature that will help you earn revenue from your website by integrating relevant sponsored content from premium third party advertisers into the Related Content app.<\/p>\n
