By default, we&#8217;ve set it to 15% because for most websites, it looks great without any adjustments. But in some cases, the buttons may overlap an image or banner.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-19629\" src=\"https:\/\/www.shareaholic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/Offsetting-your-Floated-Share-Buttons-by-Shareaholic.gif\" alt=\"Offsetting your Floated Share Buttons by Shareaholic\" width=\"560\" height=\"363\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0<strong>VERTICAL OFFSET<\/strong>\u00a0feature will allow you to create adjustments in the height from the top of the page by percentage (%) or pixel.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Percentage<\/strong>\u00a0is based on the height from the top of the website&#8217;s page. Depending on how tall your browser is, if the adjustments are made at 50%, the buttons will appear at the half way point of the page. It&#8217;s\u00a0a responsive setting, which makes it the recommended way to adjust your\u00a0floating share buttons.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Pixel<\/strong>\u00a0is based on exact height, which means the buttons will remain static to the page regardless of\u00a0how tall your\u00a0browser is.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>How to adjust the vertical offset<\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.shareaholic.com\/login\" target=\"_blank\">Sign-in<\/a>\u00a0to your Shareaholic account.<\/li>\n<li>From the\u00a0<strong>Site Tools<\/strong>\u00a0section, click <span style=\"color: #555555;\">the\u00a0<\/span><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-16266\" style=\"color: #555555;\" title=\"Settings Icon\" src=\"https:\/\/www.shareaholic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/Settings-Icon2.png\" alt=\"Settings Icon\" width=\"18\" height=\"21\" \/><span style=\"color: #555555;\">\u00a0icon for<\/span>\u00a0<strong>Floated Share Buttons<\/strong>\u00a0to be directed to the editing page.<\/li>\n<li>From the\u00a0<strong>VERTICAL OFFSET<\/strong>\u00a0field, you&#8217;ll notice\u00a0that the\u00a0default settings are at 15%.
